I own a laptop with Wi-Fi and a gigabit LAN. There are two 3D printers that can connect over Ethernet, but one uses a network router without any LAN ports. I need to link the printer to the laptop through the LAN using the router, while the laptop connects to the same LAN via Wi-Fi. The printer should appear as if it’s directly connected to the router’s LAN port, and the laptop acts as a regular LAN device. I’m struggling to find the right terms or a tutorial that explains this setup.

Because if it's the problem, just swapping it will solve everything.
