What processor do you have? For 11th generation models, you should use H510, B560 or Z590 (Z490 could work but verify BIOS updates). For 10th generation, H410 and B460 are also options, though they can't be overclocked for memory.

It seems you're suggesting a better motherboard would be needed, as H510 and many B560 models aren't ideal.
