CCNA is now divided into several specialized areas. The initial version was quite challenging, and I thought it might still be that way—possibly similar to how MCSE has been simplified for broader accessibility.

It wasn't the case. The certification required intermediate understanding of Cisco technology and some general networking concepts. It's designed for beginners.

What comes next is the more advanced stage. I was certain... but I’m not sure anymore. I was trying to remember, CNE certification, got my terms mixed up. It’s fine, I get it now.

Yeah, that one isn't even Cisco. It goes CCENT --> CCNA --> CCNP --> CCIE for the R&S main route (and most branches). The design route goes a bit differently.
