Hello, I just purchased an Intel Core i5-9400 chip for my ASRock B365M Phantom Gaming 4. I want to explore overclocking for the first time—do you have any instructions or steps to do this safely? Thanks!

The 9400 model cannot be overclocked, only CPUs with a K suffix (for Intel) are capable of it.

I checked the specifications and found that the maximum single-core frequency is determined by the processor's capabilities. I switched my PC to Performance Plan, but it only showed the overall boost available. It seems the manufacturer might not list a specific single-core frequency in their documentation. Did someone mention this to a salesperson or in a forum?

I checked the 9400 spec page, and the 9400F is in the same situation—neither can be overclocked.

It seems this feature isn't available in the current version. B-clock OCing is outdated, and with your multiplayer settings disabled, you won't be able to make changes.
