I'm feeling pretty bored right now. I've been searching for an RPG that fits a low-mid spec laptop (GTX 780, i7 4710). So far, I've tried: All Fallout titles (PC versions included), Elder Scrolls (daggerfall, morrowind, skyrim), The Witcher 2 & 3, Dragon Age 1-2, Inquisition, Mass Effect 1-3, and Diablo 2, Kingdoms of Amalur.

I understand you mentioned RPG, but would you prefer to try a first-person shooter instead?

Other options include Borderlands 1, 2 and the prequel (if you're okay with FPS), Final Fantasy, Hyperdimension Neptunia. Also worth checking out Watch_dogs 2, the Borderlands lineup, Saints Row 3 and 4. For a story-driven experience, I suggest Watch_dogs 2, the Borderlands series, and Saints Row games.

I've played borderlands but didn't enjoy it. It seems more suited as a cooperative experience rather than a solo one. Saints Row 2 stands out as the top choice in my view, offering a great balance of humor and depth. The levels 3 and 4 feel overly absurd to me. Final Fantasy is another title I didn't like, especially because of its combat system.

Fable Anniversary is an excellent game. It’s not overly big, yet it carries a delightful charm and humor. The gameplay is simple yet enjoyable, making it perfect for a brief break.

Absolutely, it's a lovely game. I hope Fable 2 is available for PC too.

The Dark Souls titles offer intense role-playing experiences, but they're significantly more challenging than most games you listed except perhaps Fallout 2. I haven't tried Daggerfall yet.
