It’s a hilarious adventure set in a future Paris where memories are managed by the big company Memorize. You take on the role of Nilin, a memory hunter who can alter other people’s recollections to shape their thoughts. It’s likely one of your top ten titles and costs about ten dollars on Steam.

Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 1 and 2 were okay if you're comfortable with older titles and modifying them. Skip my thoughts on the first one but I spent 50 hours on the second after going through Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Mankind Divided. The revolution scenes were decent but the boss battles weren’t great. I haven’t played Mankind Divided yet, but it feels similar and the newer Darksiders series is coming soon. Here’s your straightforward post-apocalyptic note: keep in mind that for classic games like Kotor 1 & 2 or the Darksiders lineup, you just have to wait for a sale and buy them at 50%-75% off to save money.

It was a solid experience overall. The game mainly focused on stealth, requiring cloak mode to evade or defeat enemies, sneak into locations, and bypass systems like doors or computers to gather mission details. Boss battles were rare, consisting mainly of large mech suits that could be taken down with ammo, grenades, and mines. Darksiders had a nice visual style, so I’m hoping to find it on Steam or another platform. Thanks!

View the trailer for the latest metro game along with its soundtrack and Far Cry 5. Among my top choices for 2018 (still upcoming on OFC) is the YouTube channel gameranx, who posted a great top RPGs video from this year.

I will say a game i really enjoyed is the entire metal gear series. The newest one metal gear solid phantom pain is really really good but you cant beat the classics like the original metal gear solid.

It’s tough to pick up Divinity: Original Sin 2—it’s not for everyone. The Life is Strange series is also worth checking out, but they’re quite brief. More like a creative masterpiece than a typical game. You’ll likely feel the emptiness of existence lingering after you finish.

Played the first LiS and it felt like a final moment. The big Dexter nod was fine, but no matter what you did, the ending stayed the same. Chloe’s death is unavoidable, even if you wipe everything she’ll probably die at soon. I’m thinking about getting Divinity Original Sin 2, while I’m stuck on Wasteland 2.
