Looking for high-RAM games to test? I’m worried my setup might hit the limits after getting the RTX2070. Some titles can fully utilize the available VRAM at 4K, even reaching 16GB total if the system is pushed to its capacity. While benchmarks show full usage, I haven’t seen it in actual games yet.

PC video storage is significantly quicker than general system RAM; they serve different functions in a computer. To verify RAM performance, perform a memtest only if you think it might be faulty.

I'm purchasing new components: 16GB RAM. Cities Skylines: You're right, I've got mods installed for you!

As mentioned earlier, during testing it consumes the full 16GB, which suggests it should be acceptable.

You're referring to a system with limited resources, where even 16GB feels insufficient for background tasks. This isn't about Chrome but about managing constraints effectively.

Usually, the biggest resource hog is Tidal. Long time ago I switched to Firefox, which uses less RAM than Chrome. Maybe that’s why my system never exceeds about 7 gigabytes of memory.

Generally, games that incorporate mod support tend to consume significant memory. My observations show Cities Skyline demands a lot of RAM when multiple mods are active. ARK Survival Evolved also uses considerable memory, though much of it remains idle—like when I played at 28GB for a full day.
