Hey! I see you're into a variety of genres—platformers, FPS, RPGs, RTS, and more. If you're looking for single-player experiences that offer engaging stories and good visuals, here are some solid picks: Witcher 3 is a great starting point, but if you want something fresh, consider games like The Witcher 2, Divinity: Original Sin 2, or Disco Elysium. For action-packed fun, check out Dark Souls series, Hollow Knight, or Hollow Earth. If you enjoy strategy, look into XCOM 2 or StarCraft II. Let me know if you want more tailored suggestions!
sword art online fatal bullet combines fps and rpg elements from tales of berseria, making it a solid rpg experience. nsfw content noted. the atelier series offers immersive mmos but can be expanded for singleplayer. sao fatal bullet shines with intense shooters and rpgs—great pick if you're into that vibe. the atelier lineup is top for those who enjoy similar stories, though it's a bit long if you're into chilling narratives. sao hollow realization suits fans of action-packed shooters and rpgs. solid recommendation for serious gamers.
For RTS, try out starcraft 2. First campaign is free, story is meh, but gameplay is amazing. If you really want story, just play starcraft 1 & broodware expansion. It's free and has great story, but visuals are kinda really dates. They made a new remaster if you want to pay 15 bucks.
Life is strange? just a lighthearted nod to strategy, city-building, and sandbox titles—games like Annoying Orange, Civilization, and Banished that can quickly stretch a few hours into days. It’s not a direct sequel to Witcher, but still fun in its own way.
serious sam isn't just about anime either, and I didn't say anything else. So it seems you probably enjoy most things, especially if you don't like anime games, you're missing out on a lot of great role-playing games.
I enjoy the game Banished, it's an amazing experience. I played for a few hours and got bored. Prefers Cities Skylines or Banished, or honestly SimCity. Yet I really want something like Witcher 3. I've been watching God of War lately and I truly desire a title that matches that. I've even considered buying a PS4 just for that game, hehe!
Here are some of my top picks—all single-player options: Creeper World 3**, FTL Faster Than Light**(with mods), Half-Life 2**, Rimworld**, Terraria, The Binding of Isaac, Thomas Was Alone**, Undertale, Castle Crashers, Trackmania (just the stadium mode), and others. I also include a few games I’ve heard good things about or enjoyed myself but haven’t played yet: Spoiler, Witcher 3, Cave Story, Inside Heavy Rain, Fahrenheit, Ingido Prophecy, Beyond Two Souls, LA Noir, Besiege Cluster, Truck Don't Starve, Factorio, Hotline Miami, Kingdom Limbo, Only If Oxygen, Prison Architect, Quake 3, Risk of Rain, SpelunkySD, Stardew Valley, Super Meat Boy, The Beginner's Guide, The Escapists, The Forest, West of Loathing, Into The Breach, Gods Will Be Watching, Bleed 2, Doom, Doom 2, Democracy 3, SuperHot. Many are highly recommended based on story or gameplay; they’re mostly single-player though some have multiplayer elements. If you’re like me, I’d just browse this list and pick what feels right.
It's a solid list, and serious Sam isn't about 3D graphics. I appreciate the effort behind the games you recommended—I like that kind of narrative and gameplay. However, I can see why you prefer the art style. I'm a pretty particular person when it comes to games, but overall I'm happy to share these suggestions in the future if someone checks this out. Thanks!
