You're experiencing issues with your older RAM module in test environments, and the DDR4 supply seems limited. Your options include higher-capacity kits or alternatives. Consider upgrading to a 64GB module if possible, as the current one is maxed out. The Corsair Vengeance kit you found offers good performance reviews and fits your budget. If you're open to other brands like SK Hynix, check their specifications for compatibility. Make sure your motherboard supports the required timings and channels.

You also increased the clock speed and adjusted the power supply voltage? The issue persists even when the XMP profile isn't active.

Consider reaching out to G.Skill for a replacement, as they offer a lifetime warranty. If that's not available, opt for the most affordable DDR4 kit—either a budget 2x16GB option or a used high-end model if you're willing to search. Spending over $50 on RAM isn't worth it when performance gains between similar kits are minimal and DDR4 is rapidly being phased out. Investing more in a premium kit now could limit your ability to upgrade later.

Performed test 8 and 9 this evening with XMP disabled (1.2V, CL18). Adjusted frequency from 2133 to 3200Mhz. Previously used XMP II consistently; last night’s XMP I caused errors on test 8. No immediate plans for replacement—consider it later. Uncertain if they still have the original boards, but having extra RAM is beneficial. Avoided running XMP 1.35v through them; no patience for memory overclocking.

Process the return and send a replacement. It seems the item hasn’t been manufactured recently, so you should face minimal trouble obtaining a new one. https://www.gskill.com/rma

Auto configurations (CAS 17-18-18-36 1.2V) appeared to function properly. This was the only setting that succeeded; I've experimented with several 1.35V attempts. I completed the tests 8 and 9 before running the system overnight. Should I still consider replacing this RAM? The nearest non-EOL model on GSkill's site is CL16-16-16-36, but I can't confirm availability. Most alternatives are inferior, with SK Hynix offering slower or less efficient timings compared to my setup in ASUS auto mode. I'm inclined to replace it, as fresh RAM could significantly improve the system's longevity.

Received the replacement order, but it came back identical to the original unit (link provided). The product label indicates EOL status, which is unexpected since it was supposed to be made in April 2025. It seems unavailable anywhere now. My device claims a production date of April 2025 as well. Regardless, I'm relieved to have my Samsung b-die CL14 back. I'm wondering if running this Corsair (Micron) build at 3600Mhz with XMP at Gear 1 will let me use the new CL14 at those speeds—it would be great to have a 3600 timing option.
