It seems the game is likely to be emotionally challenging, leaving me feeling down. With a 63 frames per second limit, I’m surprised my 60Hz screen won’t feel as ineffective as I expected.

The game ran well across a range of settings on my machine. I bought it beforehand and wasn’t disappointed. The overclock didn’t seem to help much, but it works fine for online play even with others nearby. There was just one crash during exit, which isn’t a big issue because the game keeps saving your progress while you’re connected. No issues with enemies or other aspects.

Recent Bethesda titles have consistently faced the same problem. Games like Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, and Fallout 4 all share this challenge. It seems the engine itself is the root cause. Since no one knows for sure how popular these games will be, it makes sense that modders have already resolved the issue for Skyrim and the Fallouts.

The frame rate should be higher for smoother movement. It’s fascinating how my experience contrasts with others’. Constant difficulty, no save option leads to losing 40 minutes of progress when disconnected. Enemies remain invisible and cannot be killed by gunfire, though they can be taken down melee. Textures fail to load, and graybox lakes, ponds, or rivers appear. I’m confused about what’s happening but am considering installing the game or waiting a week to see how things change. In the meantime, F4 feels slower, but this version looks different—just another map with minor adjustments.

I'm past the 30-hour mark and here are my thoughts so far: - Still missing solid texture, geometry, weapon or physics challenges that really break things. I've seen some usual Bethesda quirks like floating items or misplaced quest markers, but they're rare. - The game occasionally stutters, probably due to network issues, especially when near other players. - Servers sometimes disconnect unexpectedly, though I haven't lost any saved data yet. This is frustrating because it disrupts the experience and makes it hard to join a group. It's fun enough on its own, but feels a bit dull as a solo playthrough. The highlight is the chance to chat with others, but I usually connect to only about a dozen players at a time. Switching terminals can be repetitive, but if Bethesda fixes these problems, the game could attract more people.
