I've been eager for this title, though the required specs are quite high. I'm curious if anyone is testing the beta and if the experience feels okay even with lower-end hardware. My setup includes a 7600k and a GTX 1060 with 6GB RAM and 16GB of fast memory. I understand the graphics card and RAM are sufficient, but I read that the lowest compatible Intel processor was the 6600k—still not significantly less than what I have. It would be frustrating to purchase the game only to discover a hardware upgrade is needed just to play it smoothly.

It's a K at the end of the CPU name, and it should work just fine. You might be able to overclock it a bit if you try. (I haven't played it yet)

I'm working smoothly in beta on an i5 8600k with 16 GB RAM and a GTX 770. My GPU performs better, but your GPU is significantly faster. I can handle high settings with over 30 FPS during action and 60+ FPS while walking. A friend is doing it well on an older AMD 1055 (first 6 cores) with a GTX 650 using medium settings and low shadows.

Ran on an i7-8700 with a GTX 1070, delivering steady frames at 100+ most of the time. Used high settings.

Chose to explore overclocking possibilities, quickly raised from 3.8 to 4.4ghz—seems fine for now. Perhaps I'll try an AIO later and push a bit more, but staying under 70°C at 4.4ghz is acceptable. Fallout 4 feels smoother compared to it.

It won't really count since high frame rates won't exist any more. Bethesda limited it to 63fps. I'm considering giving back the money.

It really surprised me when I heard that. It’s pretty naive of Bethesda given how many folks are shifting away from 60Hz toward 144Hz or more as monitors become more affordable. They seem to be releasing games before they’re even ready. To top it off, even Battlefront II 2005 caps at 80fps, which was the norm back then when higher refresh rates weren’t common.

It's incredibly absurd. The logic behind it is even more ridiculous. Linking so many physics aspects to FPS mechanics makes it impossible to correct. How could they have overlooked such a simple error? The PC release likely didn't receive enough attention.

The minimum specification is set at 6600k, but you're using a 6600k and achieved excellent outcomes in the demo.

It's fascinating how older GPUs handle games better than newer ones. With my 4960k, 8GB RAM, GTX 980, it ran smoothly enough—medium settings were playable, though performance was limited to around 25 FPS. I wasn’t sure if my PC was the issue, but the experience was frustrating. Beyond speed problems, the game had many glitches, like enemies freezing in a T pose and warping monsters.
