Hello everyone,
I own a budget gaming laptop from 2017.
It is the "Dell Inspiron 5577" with an "i5 7300HQ" and a "GTX 1050".
I can play most games at medium and low settings. I also record gameplay smoothly in 1080p at 30FPS and 720P at 60FPS without any lag.
I’m wondering if it’s possible to stream on YouTube or Twitch with 720p resolution using this device.
Note: The laptop gets warm during recording, but that doesn’t affect performance. I plan to replace the thermal paste and possibly buy a cooler if streaming works. I haven’t tested it yet because my internet connection isn’t fast enough, but I hope it improves once I get a better connection.

Switching thermal paste won't help, but if you really want to go all out, do it. Laptops heat up a lot, and with streaming you're already adding more stress on top of gaming, she's putting in a lot of effort.

It's easy to test, just download OBS, create a Twitch account, connect them and try streaming. Use your phone or another computer to verify quality and frame rate problems. It might work depending on the games you play—such as Dota, LoL, or Hearthstone—but streaming FPS titles could be challenging.
