Hello, I need to choose a CPU from the earlier 3xxx series that fits my setup. The only option available was a costly 5800x with thermal concerns, making me doubt it. What are the top choices from the previous 3xxx lineup that would perform well with my system?

The 5800x is roughly 600€, while the 5600x is about 400€. I also spotted a 3900x or 3900xt near 480€.

For epeen, consider 5600 or 5800x resolutions. You'll need many threads in a kill style setup—around 3900x. If your budget is for the GPU, prioritize the CPU. For streaming and editing, go with 3600x. A 3700x works if you're on that path.
