The machine ran for two days but after installing a new SSD it caused issues with the BIOS boot settings. The screen went black during startup, and when it came back it displayed error messages about USB and I/O ports not functioning. The power supply fan became excessively loud after some time. It seems the motherboard is still operational since no beep codes appeared for the CPU, RAM, or power source, though fans spin and the HD reads properly. Windows 10 is installed on both the SSD and the main drive. There are persistent problems with USB and I/O ports even after checking the monitor and hardware. After a day of keeping the PC off, it restarts normally with working keyboard, mouse, and display. When I press F1 to boot, the system either loads normally or shows an error screen with options for HD or battery replacement, but pressing ESC doesn’t open the startup menu. This makes me anxious because restarting leads back to the same frustrating cycle of fans and non-functional ports.
