Hey there, I'm searching for a Ryzen 3600 build and have found two motherboards that seem promising. I'm struggling to choose between them, and I'd appreciate any recommendations for other motherboard options as well. I'm leaning toward the MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI and the ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi). Please let me know if they're solid choices and if there are additional models worth considering. Thanks!

Pick the Asus TUF. It’s likely the top choice for an x570 unless you really want to go beyond it to models like Taichi or Unify.

I don't like the yellow much, that's why. Thanks for the update. I was thinking about Taichi, but after checking the cost...

Gigabytes Elite offers great value for money, often praised as the top choice for the x570. It pairs well with the TUF model.

What colour palette are you considering? The yellow is quite subdued, but once you power up the GPU, it becomes almost invisible. I’m going for a completely black and white setup with the x570 TUF, and the yellow doesn’t stand out at all. Here’s a photo. It’s extremely subtle and not distracting. Spoiler: it works.

You're on the right track with the blue/purple vibe. Glad you found it helpful! Your setup sounds great too—nice work on the rig!

Thanks, it's frustratingly priced for my budget, but I really value the link—it's quite helpful.

Honestly, for budget builds—especially not professional setups with massive video files that justify PCIe4 spending—a Tomahawk Max offers a much better value at half the cost. PCIe4 doesn’t show any clear advantage in the near term (unless you have unlimited funds), and it mainly adds chipset enthusiasts to the mix. Unless you really need a lot of I/O ports, the Tomahawk Max is your go-to choice.
