Looking for assistance with tuning Corsair Vengeance LPX from 2666MHz to 2933MHz?
Is it feasible? I've increased the RAM to its rated speed of 2666MHz using XMP, and I'm curious about how to reach a stable 2933MHz. I'm open to adjusting other components but want to focus on the RAM first. The system details are: CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600, motherboard AsRock AB350 Pro4, GPU GTX 1060 Windforce OC Gigabyte. I only have the two fans from my Meshify C with the stock CPU cooler for the 1600, and the current ambient temperature is around 11°C.
does your board include a "try it" option that automatically adjusts the settings for you? if so, test one of them and check stability before adjusting further. i can achieve 2993mhz on my CL14 2400mhz vengeance ram using these settings:
