Hello, your Aorus Z590 Pro AX with an i7-10700k is being built from scratch, which might explain the issue. The 1TB Samsung 870 Evo SSD isn’t appearing in BIOS despite working with a similar 250GB model, and swapping cables hasn’t resolved it. Testing on another board (Asus Z490-F) works, so the problem likely lies with your specific Aorus setup. You may need to check BIOS settings or hardware configuration for the Aorus platform.

The first m.2 slot is available only with the 11th generation Intel processors and their unusual choices.

Sorry, I didn't mention that I'm skipping the M.2 SSD. I'm using a 2.5" SATA SSD instead.

I’d likely choose an M.2 and opt for the matching port. The exact decision depends on your budget, of course.

Ahhh, I think I see the problem now. The 1tb is not supported and only the 250gb. Thank you.
