Hey there! I just changed my ISP and got a new modem/router setup. Since I already have a decent router, I’m just confirming if putting my modem in bridging mode will disable the router part and get everything configured properly. The setup details are: Netcomm NF10W as modem, Netgear R7000 as router.
It shouldn't be this way. When activated, it should turn off all other settings like wifi 2.4 and 5ghz to prevent unnecessary connections in your home.
