You're excited to dive into PC gaming with your new hardware! To explore options, consider titles that match your existing interests but also leverage your powerful Ryzen processors. Look into high-performance RPGs, open-world adventures, tactical shooters, and strategy games that can run smoothly on a 3600+ and 2070+ setup. Check out recent releases and classics that benefit from modern gaming tech. Happy gaming!

These are the kinds of games I enjoy playing. I like RPGs, open-world adventures, tactical games, survival experiences, and strategy titles. I avoid sports games and Twitch shooters such as COD.

@NZgamer appreciates the guidance. I haven’t created an Epic account yet, making it comparable to others. With titles spanning decades, choosing what to play can be tricky. I’m considering My Summer Car because it seems appealing. I’m aiming for an open-world experience similar to Witcher 3, Fallout, or Horizon Zero Dawn—just exploring, fighting, etc. That sounds like the genre I prefer right now. I also enjoy RPGs.

For fans of survival games, I strongly suggest trying Rust on Steam.

Thanks for the idea, but the description on the games page refers to PvP as "protect yourself from other players," which doesn't match my experience. I enjoy playing games just to unwind and relax. PvP tends to annoy me since I struggle with it, so I think it's best to avoid any competitive games.

If you prefer not to play identical games on PC, consider exploring older titles. Given your appreciation for RPG and open world experiences, Skyrim is a strong recommendation. Destiny 2 is another choice, especially since it’s available for free now. Minecraft could also be worth checking out. Here are a few titles from my Steam collection: Skyrim Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 1 & 2, Borderlands 2 & 3, Dying Light Fallout New Vegas, 4 Thief, Warframe, Just Cause 2, Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Sniper Elite 2 & 3, Witcher 3, Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed series. I’ve included games from before the Origins Far Cry series and Garry’s Mod. My goal was to suggest titles with RPG or shooter elements that aren’t purely PvP, so I encourage you to explore what catches your interest and see if it matches your preferences.

Thanks for the response. I've actually tried many of the titles on your list (they were available on consoles). Here are the games I played: Skyrim Portal 2, Borderlands 2 & 3, Dying Light, Fallout New Vegas, and Warframe (excluding the fourth one). Just a note, I didn't test the last one due to control issues. I also enjoyed Assassin's Creed Black Flag, which was better than its earlier versions. I've played some Star Wars KOTOR 1 and 2 versions and plan to try more soon. I'm curious about Gary's Mod since I'm not familiar with it. Your list seems packed with great games. Most of these were accessible because they had console versions.
