Hello Everyone!
I'm just starting out with overclocking and need some guidance for my HP OMEN laptop. Before diving into details, I want to reassure you that OCing laptops can be risky, but from my tests in FurMark, it usually stays within safe temperature ranges. Since I'm new to this process, I'm unsure whether to focus on boosting my CPU or GPU, but I just want a modest improvement—around 5-10 frames per second. My CPU is an Intel Core i7-7700HQ and the GPU is a Polaris 10 revision 1, probably for a 17-inch model. (Sorry, I'm not very familiar with computer specs just looking at what I see). If you have any more information, please let me know—your help would be greatly appreciated.

for a beginning, the 7700HQ cannot be overclocked. after running Furmark, what temperature reached your GPU and which specific GPU model do you own? it should display the results in FurMark.

The highest temperature recorded in FurMark and Heaven reached 75 degrees Celsius, while GPU-Z indicates the GPU model is Ellesmere.
