So I built a new PC a week ago
CPU: Ryzen 7 7700, PBO, Motherboard limits, CO-20
RAM: GoodRAM IRDM 6000MHz/CL30 2x16GB, EXPO-6000 30-36-36-37
MOBO: ASrock B650M HDV/M.2, latest 3.20 update
GPU: GTX 970 (I'm waiting for my 9070 XT)
SSD: WD Blue sn580 1TB
PSU: Deepcool PN850M
Minidumps
Memtest reports
Within the first hour of it being posted , it bluescreened with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL caused by display manager process (dwm.exe, no PBO/CO). I didn't thought of it much because a new systems always comes with some issues at the beginning for me. I just installed all the drivers, my usual stuff and ran some stress tests (AIDA64 and OCCT) to test the stability and all was in order. Then, the day after, I was playing CS2 with my friends and it randomly crashed. Then after like 5mins it bluescreened again with the same error message like before (this time caused by CS2 process). That night I reseated the RAM sticks and ran 8 passes with Memtest86 and all came clean, so I thought it might be an issue with GPU drivers. I reinstalled them, ran the stress tests, everything was alright. I even played some CS2 matches and everything was perfect. The next day, again during a CS2 match, it crashed once again with the same IRQL bsod. I ran Memtest once again and during the test 4, 16 errors appeared during the first pass (next 7 passes were all perfect). So, apart from the CS2, the system is perfectly stable and everything else (other games and CAD software) is doing alright.
Just a while ago I finished a full suite of Memtest86, Testmem5 and OCCT stress test and everything came back alright. Right now I am under full system stress using AIDA64 and Furmark to test wheter the temperatures might be an issue but right now Im closing the 2h mark and everything is under control, no crashes.
Is it really the issue with RAM sticks or could it be caused by the faulty CPU/MOBO? I thought about RMAing the RAM sticks but since AMD "officially" only supports 2x5200 DDR5 configuration on my CPU I have my doubts about it helping.
I also thought about increasing the RAM voltages, since I read it could improve stability but I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with that

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU. If the unit is being recycled from an older build, please state the age of the PSU. Speaking of which, did you recycle the older OS drive without reinstalling the OS?

Included the PSU, it's brand new just like the OS, and I didn't recycle the main drive. Everything else was brand new except the GPU.

Facing annoying crashes in CS2 despite passing stress tests seems challenging. Have you considered trying simpler games like Pacman 30th Anniversary to check if they cause similar problems? It could point to issues with RAM voltage or CPU/MOBO problems. Replacing the RAM might be appealing given AMD's DDR5 support, but more testing could help identify the real cause before ordering a replacement. Good luck!
