I visited G2A and purchased Crysis 2 Maximum Edition for less than $2. My setup seems capable, but I’m only seeing about 6 to 15 frames in the menu by default. There’s no way to lower it below high in the options. The game also tends to consume a lot of CPU resources. System details: Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 at 2.66 GHz with 6 GB DDR2 RAM.

It seems unlikely to run Crysis smoothly, especially on high settings. Even modern hardware struggles with it. The details are a bit unclear, but it looks like tweaking settings isn’t helping.

That’s likely around 720p, which was common back then, and the best performance would be above 24 fps. Probably depends on what the minimum specs require.

I managed to get it working. Turning off DX11 actually made a big difference.
