Hey there, I'm setting up a PC after a while. My needs are gaming, software development, and AI/ML work. I already have the RTX 5080 FE, so I'm considering AMD Ryzen 9 9950x which fits both gaming and productivity. For the motherboard, my research points to the 870E chipset as a solid choice. There are many options there, but I want something reliable. I came across two models: MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI and Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite WIFI7, both reasonably priced. Would you recommend one of these or another solid option? For RAM, DDR5 6000MHz CL30 is suggested by some, so I've picked the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 64GB (2x32GB). For storage, I'm looking at Gen4 Samsung SSD or Gen5 Crucial SSD—should I go with the cheaper Samsung or the better performance of Gen5 brands? Also, for the power supply, what’s the best fit for my current build? Cooling-wise, I’m leaning toward the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 ARGB. If you have other ideas, like the Lian Li O11D or NZXT H9, let me know!

Let’s focus on the basics. Which nation are we considering? What financial resources are available? How should the content appear—professional, casual, or something else? Providing these details will help shape a clear direction.

Location: India Budget remains near ₹1.5–1.7L (2000 USD) (already spent ₹1.1L on GPU). Games I enjoy include Cyberpunk, GTA VI upon release, Witcher 3, and various FPS titles. Tools I use: VS Code, Docker, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, etc. Build preference leans toward clean, modern designs with glass and mesh aesthetics plus RGB effects.

Are you planning to run AI/ML on the CPU? Otherwise, spending 9950x would be unnecessary. The 9600x should suffice; consider adding more storage for the transition.

Learning occurs on a GPU, yet several tasks prior to training demand CPU power such as preparing data and converting text.

Despite this, 9950x might not be ideal for the job
