hi my friend has just had his first pc built for him everything was working great but he just received it in the mail and hes having issues booting into windows. It remains on a black screen after the windows logo comes up. 1. while on the windows logo green dots and lines appear all over the screen but don't appear in the bios or windows repair screen. 2. no leds remain on during the boot sequence 3. windows has been reset pc components: Ryzen 9 5900x, 3070 rtx, 4 corsair vengeance 3600mhz ram, 2 wd black 1tb nvme, rog motherboard, Corsair 850 psu

both models include a built-in riser cable. it’s possible this is contributing to the problem—maybe the GPU is dead. Brand is Gigabyte.

Did you perform a BIOS reset? Vengeance and Ryzen might still show odd actions even if they're in QVL. Inspect the cables—I’ve forgotten to plug one in.
