I need a motherboard that works with the latest Ryzen 5000 chips. It’s proving hard to locate a solid X570 or B550 option at a fair price. I’m looking for something that supports modern features like PCI-E Gen 4 and USB-C, but sites such as pcpartpicker and newegg don’t always clearly indicate quality. Right now, I’m not planning any overclocking.

Key point is determining your budget. Nearly any option works as long as it isn’t the most affordable available.

all b550 x570 units support pcie gen 4, especially in the initial pcie connector slot
