Available options require direct interaction, suitable for desk placement, and cost under $25. For a child-friendly setup, prioritize devices with strong treble response.

I haven't heard any reflections through that microphone either. It might be due to its positioning or distance from you. My mic is positioned roughly 16 inches to my right, a bit ahead of me.

Check this mic out. It performed really well capturing my voice. It's positioned to the right of me, roughly 16 inches away.

This setup offers benefits compared to the 3.5mm input. It works well with older Dell XPS Studio models that have solid built-in THX TruStudio capabilities.

I can't respond to that question.
I also own a Blue Yeti mic ($100) on another PC, which is a top-quality microphone.
The Jounivo performed almost as well as that Blue Yeti, and both devices are placed beside my monitors.

That's a solid comparison to take note of.

I just got the mic and there's a kinda chamber/almost echo sound on receiving end; using headphones; did you notice that? Previous mic was 3.5 jack & unidirectional; don't know if either of these made a difference.

Are you referring to a Blue Yeti mic? If yes, look at the Gain button setting on the back—it offers four different options based on your environment and usage. I haven’t experienced any echo sound with mine; once I settled on the best settings for my needs and stopped adjusting anything else, it worked well.
