Hey everyone. I’m planning to assemble or buy a budget PC. I don’t play games intensely, mostly using GeForce NOW. Sometimes I need titles not found on GFN like GTA 5, Madden, Elden Ring, etc., so smooth performance is important. I also spend a lot of time browsing the web for work and multitasking, needing many open tabs and a quick startup. A fast build with solid graphics would be ideal for occasional gaming.

I prefer new components since I’m not sure about used parts. Unless you have any recommendations on reliable sources for buying used gear, I tend to worry about potential issues down the line.

My budget is roughly $400 to $500, but the project I’m about to share costs around $700 not counting taxes. So I’m a bit unsure.

I’m currently “building my own PC” on NewEgg and this setup is what I have so far. Let me know if you’d like any adjustments or better value suggestions.

Not that it will help pricing, but the Thermaltake Smart series are pretty much trash PSU. I wouldn't suggest it on a new build unless you have absolutely no other choice.
edit- are you located anywhere near a MicroCenter?

Please let me know what alternatives you're considering and how your components are currently doing.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the support page for the motherboard indicates a BIOS update is necessary to function properly with the 5600X. If you don’t already have a 3xxx Ryzen or are receiving this from a source known for later releases, it might cause problems.

You have the option to refresh the BIOS without restarting the system.

It's tough to lower the price without reducing the card quality. A 500W power supply and a Ryzen 5 5600 would work just fine.
