We can utilize every available ability while maintaining eight positions. I allocated empty spaces on certain frames for my ability placements. After adjusting, we ended up with six slots but now include all abilities and eight frames. This means we gained two additional slots overall. It seems they actually removed only two slots for four abilities. In the end, my Nova gets redirected properly.
At first I wasn't sure if things were better or worse, but after checking my frame I found a couple of empty mod slots. I double-checked everything and managed to get a few extra ones. Yeah, I understand what you're saying—I had 20 play left and hurriedly built for the Limbo mission without realizing I needed Archwing. Now I'm waiting just under two days.
