I wouldn't suggest any app that could corrupt your phone. However, you can download the Linux Tech Tips app—though it performs poorly on mobile data, using only 50MB in 30 minutes.

It lets you instruct your phone to remain silent or vibrate for a specific duration, then resume normal volume at a preset level. SolCalendar is an impressive calendar feature.

Screen stays on light mode (good app, though it struggles with my G2's tilt function if the phone isn't angled). Check out the video on the Google Play store—it clearly demonstrates the steps, though it's quite straightforward.

The tools I rely on include: Adobe Reader, Amazon, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Hotspot Shield VPN, Google Keep, Google News & Weather, Quickoffice (now part of Drive), Google Translate, and Teamviewer. All are free to download except Quickoffice. I’m curious about the Android device you’re using today.
