In Turkey, this model was more affordable than a Crosshair VIII, especially without the included Wi-Fi, and the extra M.2 port makes it very handy. The total count of M.2 slots now reaches four, which is more than sufficient.
Consider the X570 Unify or choose the MEG ACE if you don't want it to match your friend's setup. I favor the ACE over the Hero (I've tried both). My MSI B550 Gaming Carbon is handling my 5900X CPU and RAM very well, with VRMs staying cool. I've used Taichi, Tomahawk, Hero, and MEG ACE, feeling slightly better on my MSIs and preferring the BIOS. The Master and Hero are solid, but I think three xNVMe drives are better than two. Asus only offers two xNVMe, which is odd. MEG ACE or Master—pick one and enjoy!
Wow, I hope that's accurate in the United States. Sadly, it costs $500 and I've never seen it discounted before. I really wish it were available for sale. What purpose does your computer serve? It seems like a powerful build.
I mainly rely on it for Sim Racing, which means it needs steady performance at 5120x1440@120 Fps to match my ultrawide Samsung CRG 90 display. I also handle a lot of music production work, so I allocate plenty of memory (64GB) and CPU cores to manage all virtual tools. This might seem excessive to some, but I aim to keep my CPU and motherboard compatible for many years—maybe only upgrading the graphics card over time. Honestly, even my oldest machine can run FHD well on a second-gen Core i7 2600K. As long as we don’t get too technical, "future proof" is definitely achievable.
If you're using it all then there is nothing wrong with it. I mean, even if you're not using it all but it is what you wanted and you're happy then who cares right? That is what I'm looking to do as well though, buy top quality that I can so that it will last for a good number of years before I need to update.
