With Dead Rising 4 available now, choosing between Just Cause 3 and Dead Rising 4 feels like picking between two chaotic experiences. Both offer unpredictable, disorganized gameplay, but they lean more toward different styles—one centered on zombie survival and the other on high-octane action. Since you're looking for pure fun, I’d suggest going with the one that matches your preferred vibe. If you want a mix of chaos and excitement, Dead Rising 4 might be the better fit, though both deliver intense, unpredictable moments.

Just Cause 3 comes with a high level of challenge. I’m not sure about Dead Rising 4, especially since it feels similar to Michael Bay’s style. You’ll likely spend a lot of time on repetitive tasks like capturing enemy bases, and the world seems quite empty. Also, earning Gears can be frustrating at times.

I own JC3 for XB1 and even though there are some performance problems, it becomes quite dull after completing the campaign. But on PC, with the multiplayer mod and additional mods, it should offer much more enjoyment.

For a game with a dead rising feel, try Dead Rising 2 off the record.
