Looking for an alternative ITX motherboard offering higher USB speed and power delivery.
I'm testing an ASRock Z790 PG-ITX/TB4 with the USB peripherals listed. Random USB interrupts occur when certain devices connect, and Windows flags me for bandwidth issues. Devices like the Elgato Facecam Pro, Streamdeck+, keyboard, dock, and sound card all struggle under high-power setups. With x3 NVMe drives and Wi-Fi 6E, bandwidth is tight. A suitable replacement should offer more capacity and stable power delivery. Any brand or price range works.
Voltage wasn't the problem, it was the current. Still unlikely to be the main concern. I'd look up USBTreeView and figure out which port matches each controller on the board—usually one on the CPU and another in the chipset, at least; the TB4 controller should appear there too. It might be feasible to arrange the devices so USB bandwidth is used more efficiently.
