Looking for a decent mechanical or optical keyboard to start with? I’m a beginner and this will be my first time using one. I need something around 65% in price and should include arrow keys. My current membrane keyboard isn’t great, so I really need a better option.

My brother already has the same keyboard as me, which I found nice. However, I’m looking for something different, such as white and with hot-swappable options.

65% is already a small segment when compared to 60%, tkl, and full-size versions. The inclusion of hot swappable switches and the specific white option only makes it even harder, and this is before considering an extreme budget. I'm looking at options, but most are more than double the cost.

The question asks about the rarity of 65% at lower costs and the mechanical keyboard percentages available for $50-60. It seeks clarification on affordability and options within that range.

Can't guarantee its standard; Royal Kludge is recognized here. Since the RK is already more affordable, I wouldn't choose it personally.
