Why are these prices so low? The 5600G is cheaper than the 5500 by $30, and the 5700G beats the 5700X by $60 all from AliExpress. What’s missing here? I’m thinking about switching to DDR4 since RAM speeds are great.

Is this deal on AliExpress worth it? You're wondering if you'll get a real, functional CPU at such a low cost.

Fortunately, you might receive the processor you anticipate, though it could have some odd scratches. Unfavorably, you may end up with a Ryzen 5700g heatspreader stuck on an old AMD CPU. In the worst case, you could face a dead CPU, a metal piece resembling a CPU, or even a rock.
