I've seen a comparable query before, and it seems the Samsung lineup is suitable for a M.2 drive. The Samsung Evo 970 supports Gen3, while the Evo 980 works with Gen4.

Probably due to the fact that a budget M.2 chip under 100 euros isn't really available. Checking pcpartpicker.com showed most options were HDDs, not SSDs. I located one at 99.99 and another at 100.49 euros. Not being aware of your location affects these prices unless you share more details. I mentioned France since it's in the EU.
