I’m setting up my new system smoothly, though there’s a problem called International Post that’s taking away my GPU and CPU for an unknown period (no delivery time expected). I expect it will arrive eventually, but I really need access to my computer since my work depends on it. My previous setup: motherboard model unknown (dxdiag listed "System Manufacturer" and "Product Name") – it’s faulty and should be replaced soon. New CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-2700K @ 3.50GHz – working but not suited for the new board. GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 – the seller said it should fit, though it might limit performance. My current machine is a ROG Strix Z590-E Gaming Wifi, and I’ve ordered a compatible GPU and CPU that are currently stuck in post. Since I was told I could use my old GPU, I’m considering using it temporarily, but Benchmark shows the old CPU isn’t compatible anymore. I’m searching second-hand listings on Ebay, but many seem incompatible. It doesn’t matter if it bottlenecks; I just need something that works.

Google recommends an I3 10100 as a likely budget-friendly choice. Note: The suggestion didn’t really boost confidence. A 10100 is sufficient, and the 10100f can be slightly cheaper because it includes a functional GPU. Updated November 19, 2021 by Revioli
