I'm looking for a reliable source to obtain a fresh version of WCIIIFT without running into the same errors you're experiencing with your Windows 98SE and ME installation.

You can sign up for your CD-KEY on Battle.net and access it as a digital download thereafter.

Sure thing. It helps a lot when things are straightforward. I’ll handle Starcraft next.

It's listed under "Games and Codes" IIR. Functions well with Starcraft and Diablo 2 plus their respective XPacks.

Starcraft is available for free starting this week, but availability for adding to accounts may vary.

I've managed to input the keys successfully, thanks. I purchased the Starcraft Battle Chest and Warcraft III Battle Chest a few years ago for Christmas before they became free. They cost $8 for a buy-one-get-one-free deal. It still surprises me that I could obtain games compatible with Windows 98 that were originally released from EB Games.

They remain in high demand. Warcraft retains its value over time.

Sure. It seems you need to set up ROC+FT on XP, apply the updates, and then move it over to Windows ME for proper functionality—the version available online is limited to Windows XP.

It's significantly tougher to eliminate than 98SE, and it offers greater stability.
