I'm searching for video editing tools that handle high-resolution footage smoothly. Camtasia has memory limits, which makes it hard with large 12MP files. I need something easy to use, preferably offering a free trial so I can test it before buying. A good option should also support GPU rendering for faster performance.

Sony Vegas and Adobe Premier are top choices, though it varies based on your budget and commitment level.

I don’t want to invest a lot of money. My main job is tweaking GoPro clips and screen recordings, and I’m not aiming for big profits from them.

So some Vegas pro suites are priced just above half the cost of my computer.

Sony Vegas is my top suggestion, though costs vary by location. Adobe Premiere offers another choice, but I don’t remember its pricing. I bought the Adobe Professional Suite a couple of years ago for a significant investment, so expect higher prices. There are some more affordable alternatives, such as WMM, but it’s really problematic—often crashes multiple times when working with files over 2GB. Once I tried to edit a 5-minute clip, it took nearly two weeks and kept failing because I recorded at 60fps in 1440p and attempted raw editing in WMM.

They're quite costly, especially with premium options priced above $150... maybe I should settle for basic camera tutorials instead.

I'm working with the Movie Studio Tral platform but it claims I can only edit videos. It doesn't allow adding or modifying images. When I upload all my photos, they automatically turn into a video, and adjusting the length per clip makes it feel like a lengthy slideshow lasting about an hour.

Move the images in the timeline to reduce their length.

You'll need to select each photo individually, which won't be efficient with over 1000 images.
