Looking for a valuation of a gaming system that's about two years old
Hello everyone, I’m thinking about selling my current PC to fund a new SFF build, and I wanted to know the best price to list it at. Everything is in great shape, and I haven’t faced any issues yet. I’m interested in local sales near the Vancouver BC area to minimize shipping risks and avoid scams.
What would be a reasonable offer for this setup, including the monitor? Any offers should be in Canadian Dollars.

Where could you promote it? How driven are you? Those who are interested will likely want less than what you request. Are you completely unwilling to sell it in parts instead of as a complete unit? Your final outcome will depend heavily on the local situation—perhaps in Toronto, Estevan, or Moose Jaw.

I'm thinking about posting it on Craigslist, FB Marketplace, and maybe Kijiji (essentially eBay but for local deals).
I feel pretty motivated, but I need to sell it within a month or so because I'm relocating across the country—so I want a more portable setup.
I’d really like to list it as a bundle, though I’m aware that this can often lead to a lower sale price than selling it separately. My main concerns would be rushing the process and handling multiple listings at once.
The market in Vancouver used to be pretty quiet, but it seems to have picked up recently. I plan to spend some time browsing classified sites to see what similar items are currently selling for.
I'd say that's the best thing you can do....to get a feel for the recent local market.
Don't know what the volume of recent local sales of similar PCs might be.....maybe 2 in the last month or maybe 20. What it would sell for in Timbuktu means almost nothing.
And your time deadline will be constantly adding to your motivation, assuming it MUST sell by some certain date.
Tough situation......obviously an "appraised value" ultimately means little and will be trumped by other factors....local conditions and your motivation level.
What did you pay for it? Not that it matters much.
