I am an Indian user receiving a new laptop in about 15 days. I’m not waiting any longer because I let my father wait three months, promising him better tech would arrive in April. There are many laptop choices here, which makes me a bit confused. I’m used to 3050 or 3060 models with AMD GPUs since I’ll be coding more and gaming less. I understand performance differences between AMD 5000 series, Intel 11th Gen, Intel 12th Gen, and AMD 6000 series aren’t huge for my needs. My main worry is the DDR5 RAM. Should I go for an Intel 12th Gen or AMD 6000 series laptop (which are rare and might cost more for being early) OR should I pick one with AMD 5000 series or Intel 11th Gen, which are widely available and affordable? Also, I plan to keep this new laptop for the next 6-8 years.
