My friend's motherboard failed today, he needs an AMD board. He currently has an AMD 1700 and wants to upgrade his RAM, which he already owns. The RAM he’s looking for is G.Skill F4-3600c18q-32vgk. He also requires an M.2 slot for his SSD. It should be reliable. His budget is roughly $100 to $140. He needs it urgently since streaming and content creation demand minimal downtime. I’d suggest getting an Asus board because of their quality and my familiarity with fixing them. Thanks ahead!

Asus's boards don't automatically stand out in quality compared to rivals. For an ATX setup, MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX is a solid choice. If he prefers mATX, the Asus TUF GAMING B450M-PRO S is a great alternative.

Other Asus boards compatible with his components are likely possible. It seems to be a GTX model, so matching GPU parts should work.

You might want to consider alternatives beyond Asus. While they build solid boards, their higher price for features and the usual brand resistance aren't ideal. Most B450 boards will suffice, but if you're unsure, checking the VRM Tier List could help.
