Hello. I have a PC parts list featuring a Ryzen 5 5600X and am open to switching to an Intel Core I9-9900K since it’s currently available for $300 at Micro Center. I’m also unsure about opting for the i9-10900K, the Core i9-9900K, or simply holding off until a Ryzen 5 5600X is back in stock. For cooling, I plan to use a CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX CPU cooler. I’ll share links for precise pricing:

- Intel Core i9-9900K Coffee Lake 3.6GHz Eight-Core LGA 1151 Boxed Processor - Micro Center
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Vermeer 37GHz 6-core AM4 with Wraith Stealth Cooler

If you lean toward the Intel path, could you suggest a reliable motherboard that fits the socket? I want something under $250 and preferably white. I’ve done my research on Intel boards but would appreciate more insights from others.

Consider staying with Ryzen—it seems quite promising. I wouldn't choose Intel; the 5600X is the better option!

9900k seems great for the price, but it falls short compared to the performance of 5600x. Using a platform here isn't worth it. The value really shines with up to 16 cores, making it useful even after 10 years.

The main concern is when it will be available again since I need to go to a microcenter tomorrow, and it might not be in stock. I’ll hold off until then. Thanks!
