The simplest choice is whatever mobile device you have. Speedfan is the only alternative.

It's simple. Create a fan profile name, attach the sensor, choose the PWM you wish to manage, and define the fan curve. Remember to enable 'Automatic fan control' on the front screen for adjustments based on the curve.
