Hi, sorry for my bad English! I used to play a racing game when I was younger. You could pick any kind of car you wanted. But one special car had guns and missiles on it too. It also had traps inside. There was just one map. No missions or special cars to unlock. You just picked a type of car, and all the other characters in the game would have that same car as you. That's pretty much how it worked back then. I played this game way back in 2004/2005 on PS. All those cars were real ones. There were no weird or fake looking vehicles.

I can't think of any game with just one map, guns, and AI players. Midtown Madness and the 2nd version were Microsoft games that came with only one or two maps. Later they added new places like Chicago, San Francisco, and London. You could try time trials but there was no AI and no weapons. Maybe an old Need for Speed? But those had more than one map and didn't have guns. I wonder if you played a demo that only had one map?
