Hey there, I found a solid opportunity on a used 1080 SLI rig where one GPU wasn’t outputting video. After cleaning it up, everything worked again. That’s great news. I’m not planning to go with SLI; this setup is mainly for F&H and gaming when everything runs solo (just one GPU for games). To make it function properly, I need a board that can split the PCIe lanes from a single X16 to dual X8 configuration, plus an x4 SSD for booting. The board I have meets most of these needs except for the full package. I can get the lane splitting but not the x4 SSD slot—only a second X2 M.2 worked, but it didn’t recognize the drive. Could you recommend any X570 or B500 boards that support all these features? Look for something with bifurcation capability and an x4 SSD slot, at least four SATA ports, no built-in I/O shield (the modified sleeper case won’t fit), and ideally priced around $150?
