You're on a corporate network where external access isn't functioning. It seems using a VPN can help get around that. Are there reliable free VPN options available, or are there other methods you could try?

Back in the day, I relied on LogMeIn's Hamachi for simple file sharing and gaming, but it’s now quite inconsistent. I’m looking for another free VPN that doesn’t isolate users or compromise privacy, especially since they might be involved in questionable data practices.

No, none of them provide free trails without requiring a subscription or payment.

I rely on ProtonVPN for free, it performs well and offers no data limits. However, I can't guarantee the safety of any complimentary VPN service.

I'll attempt that, focusing on being among the group or streaming to my home PC.

I wouldn't rely on a free VPN since some allow others to share your link. Picture the consequences if someone watching inappropriate content sees your connection.

Proton failed again, likely because of the Wi-Fi configuration.

You're asking about what fails or isn't effective. Let me clarify what doesn't work in this context.

You're asking if you're trying to link to a VPN server, but it won't function because your workplace has blocked such connections. You're wondering why you actually require a VPN link.
