Hello. I'm setting up a new desktop with a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, an AORUS PRO AX B550 AORUS PRO AX (rev. 1.0) motherboard, and a Be Quiet Dark Pro 4 cooler. Right now I'm not focused on gaming, just on performance. My priority is speed, so I'm planning to install 3200MHz 2x16GB RAM. The assembler suggested a HyperX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 1.35V Fury Series. Some people said it might not be the best option and they’re open to spending more if another RAM choice offers better speed.

They support XMP, which makes 3200 CL16 quite impressive. Going up to 3600 or 4000 won’t hurt much. The actual improvement you notice won’t be significant.

3600MHz offers the top performance. 4000MHz could be even better, though it depends on overclocking the FLCK to 2000MHz on your 5800X (feasible but not certain), and you may face more compatibility challenges with these speeds.

Thanks to everyone. It seems I didn’t explain myself well enough. Since I’m not planning O.C., and after reading about it I don’t think there’s any need to go beyond 3200 mgh, which is the CPU limit, my main concern was about the brand and model.

The highest officially approved frequency is 3200 MHz. I’ve tried it before and it worked without any problems. If you want a better look, I switched to Corsair Vengeance RGB Pros for aesthetics.

Would you mind if I check other brands that offer a 3200 MHz clock speed and similar latency? I’d appreciate any benchmarks or tips on how they handle overclocking compared to the stock performance.

They're fine with those Kingston/HP devices. Using 3200 units from various manufacturers will generally provide comparable results when operated in stock with identical delays.

This ram should work perfectly, it’s straightforward and no extra features. HyperX was originally from Kingston before being acquired by HP.
