The version might relate to the PCB layout. It shouldn't affect this memory kit much since the Jedec and XMP operate at the same frequency anyway.

It doesn't matter since the maker never checked it with that RAM; it usually functions with the board. Particularly when it was validated using a previous iteration of the memory.
