Hey there! I see you're diving back into Crysis with your old retail copy. There might be a patch available to skip the DVD inserts. For mods and patches, check popular communities like Steam Workshop or forums—community suggestions often help with stability and features. Let me know if you need more details!

It keeps working perfectly regardless of how you view it, man. Plus, I’m pretty sure breaking the DRM goes against their rules even if you legitimately own the game.

Is this referred to as cracking? You just wanted to enjoy the game without needing to insert the DVD each time you play it.

It's still trying to bypass DRM (that's the main reason they push you to use the DVD), which would be problematic.

Yes, it's quite typical for retail versions of PC games to have differences from their original releases.

I reached out to EA through chat and received an origin key. No more DVDs will be sent.

If you add the Steam launcher for GTA IV, it might cause issues. Even though you own the game properly, some companies still have concerns.

He wants a shortcut. Whether you own the game or not, unless it's an official update, it’ll be a shortcut.
