Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my setup. My Asrock z97 Killer board has an onboard LAN with an E2200 chip, and it affects performance during gaming. I'm considering a PCIe NIC instead, preferably from Intel, but I can't find good deals in the UK online. There are options on Amazon, though they aren't always genuine Intel products. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

There’s no slowdown detected. You’re addressing an issue that isn’t present. Your processor stays idle at 0% during downloads. While gaming, you’ll experience minimal lag and no performance issues on your system.

Absolutely, you won't see any change at all.

I mentioned I need to remove the Killer Lan card and their software altogether.

Well, everything seems fine, no changes required. If you really want it that way, it’s just a matter of time.

Simply install the software; the driver should stay, which is sufficient.

I've got an E2200 on my file server's board, and the software seems to be running endlessly without a clear reason. Just remove it and install the corresponding .INF files for the driver, and it should behave like any standard gigabit solution available.

Games require very little data transfer. The Marvell or Broadcom Ethernet chips, often used when cheaper options are available, perform reasonably well from a CPU perspective. I’ve managed to fully utilize gig-E speeds with only modest CPU usage.
